Can I chomp your tail? Meeeeee too! Of course I'm comfortable

On about day 10 their eyes open and they meet the world. It takes a couple more days to focus though. Then we discover EACH OTHER! Wow, playmates! But Malamute puppies don't "play" -- they want to be boss right away and immediately begin pulling rank on each other. They yell, growl and bark at each other. They climb on a siblings head - all to determine pack order. Then get tired, snuggle up, and fall asleep together. Meanwhile, Mom patiently watches. Star has allowed Penny in the kitchen now, and doesn't mind if the other dogs are near the puppies (just don't come near my whelping box - that's MY space!) The pack enjoyed sniffing and seeing the puppies as often as they can. Occasionally one of them would come in the kitchen and peek at the puppies before Star notices and orders them out. At 3 weeks, they are wobbly, but becoming mobile.
