The First Week of Life
We got Jazz settled in, she was a little spacy from the anesthesia, but by 2:00 am was staring to realize these were HER puppies and began cleaning butts and taking care of them. What a great mom she is!
Time to make a cheat sheet...with 5 practically identically marked puppies it's going to be a challenge. 3 have unique nape spots so those are easy, even though they are also the same color, size, and face markings. I think this litter is even more difficult to tell apart than Jazz' previous litter of 11. And if you didn't think telling them apart was hard enough, try attempting to photograph them doing their gymnastic wiggles to catch the minute differences!

Savaak and Netiri are virtually identical...only when held side by side is possible to tell who is who.

1 week old and I finally know who is who without using the cheatsheet. A few more days until eyes open.
